Three weeks into Metabolic Surge program

Here's a quick update to my own physique transformation mission, yesterday was 3 weeks into the Metabolic Surge program and it's surely showing results. I'm doing level 1 so it's not as hard as the full version which I'm going to do right after I finish the first level.

Nutrition-wise, I went already to all phases twice, which are:

  • 5 days low carbs
  • 1 day protein only
  • 1 day carbs only (fruits)
  • 5 days low carbs (with a cheat meal on the last day)

Training-wise, it's increasing number of sets and cardio time round after round (a round is 12 days) so I'm getting stronger for sure, and for the fat well it can only go away, for sure I'm not gaining any with the kind of food I've been eating, there's no problem about that. Maybe I'm not losing as fast as I wish, but I don't really know, my goal is simply to finish this mission which is meant to last 92 days until 5th january. For sure by that time I'll be stronger and leaner, there's no reason not to. But perhaps I'll want to continue directly with another program such as an abs focused one, I don't know, I guess I'll decide in december.

So, it's been 3 weeks that I've been following Metabolic Surge and it seems 3 months to me, since it is the longest time ever that I followed any kind of diet/training program and it wasn't that easy.

I log all my food intake daily, and this too I never did, so looking at the nutritional labels of different products, etc. Calculating when to take the supplements, etc. It's not easy, but keeps myself busy in studying these new things for me.

Adam Waters has started a 14 days shred mission with lots of other bloggers, but I'm not in, because I'm not taking daily pictures. But I follow Adam's blog and others with RSS, it's interesting to keep myself focused on this mission.
